Why a Custom Made Orthotic?

The primary goal of a custom made foot orthotic is to help reduce unnecessary stresses and/or pain in the feet, lower limbs and lower back by either re-aligning a patient’s foot within their footwear or accommodating specific conditions or deformities.

When used in conjunction with appropriate footwear, a custom made foot orthotic can be effective in helping to treat a number of foot problems including heel, arch and forefoot pain – as well as pain and complications related to health conditions such as diabetes or arthritis that can affect the feet and/or lower limbs.
